Refunds & cancellations

Rules for deposits, cancellations, and refunds on classification sessions, export reviews, and handoff packet work.

Scope

This policy covers paid desk work booked with Automation Orches: lot classification sessions, exchange export reviews, and accountant handoff packet assembly. It does not cover Microsoft Store purchases of the desktop organizer; those follow Microsoft’s store terms.

Deposit

Desk sessions are held with a 30% deposit. The deposit reserves the calendar block and covers preparation of your exports.

Cancellation by you

  • More than 5 business days before the session: full refund of the deposit
  • 2–5 business days before: 50% of the deposit refunded
  • Fewer than 2 business days, or no-show: deposit is non-refundable

If you cancel after work on a handoff packet has started (file intake complete), fees for hours already spent are deducted before any refund of amounts paid.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 2 business days’ notice is allowed without penalty, subject to available slots. Later or repeated reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the table above.

Full or partial refunds after delivery

If delivered work materially fails to match the written scope note (for example, a promised half-day session cut short by us without cause), we will either complete the remaining time or refund a proportional amount. Disagreement about lot choices you approved during a session is not grounds for a refund.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed export reviews once the checklist has been sent
  • Time already spent preparing or classifying files you supplied
  • Third-party costs you incurred separately (accountant fees, exchange fees)

Refund process and timing

Email contact@automationorches.digital with your booking reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.

Work already started

For async packet assembly, “started” means we have opened your organizer file or exports and begun drafting the cover note. Before that point, a full refund of amounts paid is available if you cancel.
